The Kings Arms

On the edge of Berkhamsted’s high street market, and just a 10-minute walk from the train station, stands former 18th-century coaching inn, The Kings Arms. Many of the building’s original features have been preserved, including our bar’s substantial ‘hunting-lodge’ fireplace, and exposed beams in the principal bedrooms. Open daily, we offer a seasonal menu inspired by Mediterranean flavours in our elegant dining space, which boasts an open kitchen, glass ceiling and full-length windows. Our bar area offers comfortable relaxing seating by the fireplace, whilst our open plan restaurant is warming and relaxing. Our dishes are freshly prepared, from our traditional pizzas cooked in our wood-fired oven, to our premium aged British fillet steak.
